📖 Introduction

    India has 8 Union Territories (UTs). Unlike States, UTs are directly governed by the President of India through an Administrator/Lieutenant Governor (LG) appointed by the Central Government. Some UTs, like Delhi, Puducherry, and Jammu & Kashmir, also have Legislative Assemblies.
